Based in Orange County, California, and Serving clients across the coasts, Out West Advisors is here to be our client’s trusted advisor in the realm of finance, whether it be a private company that needs some help preparing for the diligence part of an upcoming round of investment, or a company that is contemplating a public entry, to an individual or company that needs assistance with navigating the complex crypto currency taxation laws and filings. Our founder, Chris Scott, is a hands-on finance executive with a strong technology background gifted with determination, a knack for problem-solving, and the necessary skills to get the job done. Through the years Chris has successfully been able to coordinate bankers, auditors, attorneys, investors, and the Boards of Directors to ensure success of a project. Mr. Scott brings roughly 15 years of financial market industry experience in financial reporting, audit preparation, private and public capital formation and structure, IPO/SOX, and extensive start-up company expertise. Mr. Scott earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from CSU, Fullerton, and is a Six Sigma Green Belt holder from the Viterbi School of Engineering at USC.
